The "I'm a Leader" contest is hosted by the Lehigh Valley Center for Independent Living and part of its campaign to promote leadership education. PA youth K-12 are challeneged tocreate a video, write an essay or poem, create a visual art piece or write a song about leadership.
The winner gets: a cash prize, their name in the local newspaper and a school assembly in their honor.

This spring the Free Library of Philadelphia and Just Food will offer a four-day training geared towards community members and library users interested in literacy, food, and cooking. Learn culinary literacy best practices as a dynamic approach for advancing community food education in Philadelphia. Trainings are FREE and limited to 20 participants. Applications will be accepted through Wednesday, March 8.
